I have a 55 gallon tank and orignally had a Aqua Clear model 70 on one side and a Aqua-Tech Model 30/60 on the other side. These two filters just couldn't keep up, so I purchase a Emperor 400 which is getting the job done on its side of the tank. Before I bought this filter I had a probelm with debris floating in my tank. So I took out the Aqua Clear and replaced it with the Emperor and now this side of the tank is clear other then water bubbles caused by the filter, however on the other side were I have the Aqua tech I still have some debris. Now I'm looking for a filter to replace this one, I want to highly over filter my tank. My goal is to have no debris floating in my tank. I was thinking about getting another Emperor 400 for the other side but I would like to get a canister filter. What do you guys think and what type and model of canister filter would you recommend. Rememeber I'm looking to very highly over filter my tank I want enough filteration were debris won't stand a chance. The bigger and stronger the better. Thanks for your replies! :good:

I want a canister filter so big and so strong that if I wanted I could use it by itself and never have floating debirs in my tank, thats my goal and what I'm looking for.
