Filter Media

I was just rethinking media for my external

Currently have from bottom up in my Fluval

coarse filter pad -compartment 1
ceramics -carpartment 2
polishing pad capartment 3
zeolite/carbon carpartment 3

wanting to add some bio balls? wondering if mixing bioball/ceramics is advisable?
have the ability to split the carpartments if need be with plastic inserts

In my APS 1400 I have ceramics in1 compartment along with fine mesh pads & polishong pads in all ttays/cpartments and ceramic & bio-ball mix in the other two compartments & all seems fine so far!!! .

Try SeaChem Matrix. It is by far the best Bio Media I have ever used
