Filter Media

Afternoon All, need a small piece of Advice regarding the Air Driven Box filters.

I'm currently running 6 tanks in my room, and I'm wanting to change all but one to the box filter (The Main one is external)

What media should I use, I used to have it from the top: Course Sponge, Fine Sponge (like cotton wool) Ceramic Media and then some gravel. Does this sound ok?

sounds fine to me, but shouldnt the fine wool be on the top, ie the last thing as it traps only the smallest of particals, di
