Filter Is Being Very Loud...

Got an internal filter, I just rinsed out the sponge in there (in tank water ) put it all back together and now its being a lot louder... I only had to slide the top of it off to get to the sponge so... I dont see what I could have done wrong, the sponge is back in as far down as will go. Thanks

Would probably help if you posted the make/model of the filter.

Does it have an adjustable venturi for aeration that you could have moved?

Oh yeah, sorry its a 101f series max internal filter, not adjustable

Its okay now, just rammed the sponge in down harder, seems to have sorted it Thankyou though
