Wanted to put them Side By Side. Thought it might look quite cute like that.

What i REALLY Need is a filter for it. I think this is one thing i HAVE to sort out before i go any further really. What do you guys recommeded? Its a 35L.

So far my options are a AquaOne Hang Oover one, Fluval 2Plus or a Interpet PF1 or Mini.

What do you guys think?

Cheers Guys!

yes you will definatly need a filter

do you know about cycling?

i recomend the fluval range but the two plus has a strong flow rate but you can adjust it to slow it down a bit

I come with a filter. But its not that good. Too Small.

So im looking for another one, which would be better in a heavily planted tank.

And yes i do know about cycling. :good:

if its a planted tank you might want to get one with a spraybar on the outlet otherwise it might blow the plants around a bit

hmm.. i added a reply last night but it seems to have dissapeared :-(

Hmm.. in breif then. You have a few options. Personally for small aquariums I feel that externals are the way to go. There is little enough room inside them for fish as it is!

So I would recommend a HOB or a special external. You can see an example of 2 nice filters - the Eden 501, and the Azoo HOB filter at aquaessentials. I'm sure if you shop around you might find a bargain.

A cheap alternative could be this from ebay. I've no experience of them... but at that price its worth a chance :) If you search on the forum.. i'm sure someone reviewed it!

The Eden wont have a strong enough waterflow for a 35L.
Have you heared anythng about the AquaOne HOB Filter?

the eden is rated at 300 litre per hour. That sounds plenty to me for a 35 litre tank.

I use an eheim 2211 for my 60 litre tank and its rated at 300 litres per hour also.

I agree with Maximumbob about getting an external. I use a Resun Cyclone CY20 in a 24l planted, but that Boyu filter looks like a bargain to me.

Dave.
