Hi,
Just got our Juwel 400 Rio tank (yay!!), and have some questions about filtering it adequately.
It has come with a Juwel Jumbo internal filter (not currently attached) which I believe has a 1000 litre per hour capacity.
It also came with a Fluval 304 external filter, which again is a 1000 litre, but the website ses is designed for a 300 litre tank.
Now then for the many questions....!!!
Should I bother with the Juwel filter, it seems alot of people slag them off.?
Shoud I use the fluval, again, doesn't seem a popular choice.
Should I use both???!
Also (LOL) am thinking of doing a sump (over the top I think) as I would like the experience and the challenge, is it worth it or absolutely unnecessary?
Or should I use the fluval for now, and change it when I can afford to, will it be man enough, all that is going in there at the mo' is a baby Jack Dempsey and a RTBS, but am intending to introduce other Cichlids.
Sorry for the multiple questions, look forward to peoples opinions.
Thanks!
