Filter Floss

Um, I wanted to make one of those make-it-yourself filters but it says you need filter floss. Where do you get this and what does it look like?

It's generally white. You can buy it pre shaped for certain filters or just buy a big wad of it. Ebay have some as do most online pet places.

Can I get it from any other store, (keep in mind I live in Canada)

Oh i didn't know you were from Canada. In which case i don't actually know!

I got mine from WalMart. I use the poly-fill that you use to stuff pillows and stuff with. It comes in a big bag, and it's rolled up. I just unroll a little and cut some out.
It's not expensive and it works pretty good.
