Ok I bought a new internal filter for my 170l tank. Its 2000lph and I have my old filter 850lph running next to it. The current is strong and some of the fish dont seem to like it. How do I slow the current? I have looked online and it says adjust the intake tube?! :/ help please?

If it doesnt have something you can adjust put something in front of the outlet to break up the current.
Someone else may give a better answer

i just bought a new filter and likr you the flow of it was just too powerful mine came with a spray bar even with this on was still powerful so widened the holes out in the spray bay ant now its a perfect flow if yours came with a spray bar maybe this might help

What is the 2000lph filter? Not an All Pond Solutions by any chance?

Can you not simply take the mature media out of the old 850lph filter and place it in the new filter?

No its not all ponds. Cant remember atm but its evo 04 something.
Iv lowered the flow on the 850 and attached the spray bar to the 2000. The fish seem happier and are using most of the tank again. Only problem now is the look of it!? Any other solution?
