Films...the Ones To Watch

Well thought i would try a movie post.
Just with the mrs in a cottage in wales....log fire on and stack of films to watch.

Just watched blood diamonds and have to say what a film! A must see. Such a powerful story and the cast are brill.
Next is battleship and the sweeney. Report back later with the reviews.

But what are your best much see films??

My top ones are.....shawshank redemption, philladelphia, shutter island among the best.

Rather than romcoms they should have a genre for films like Ted that are called wrongcoms, its funny as, but is a bit wrong lol.

Battleship i thought was quite good actually....agreed alot of special effect used and alot of unrealistic moments but on the whole worth a watch.

I love old classics like the great escape and the Damm busters.
But love films like the pick of destiny, dogma, snatch. Could go on and on really

Just watched the sweeney with ray winstone and ben drew...me and the mrs though it was class...great action packed british film

A few of my favorites are; Saving Private Ryan, Taken, Band Of Brothers, Training Day,

And a recent film I was surprised to enjoy was a called "In Time" staring Justin Timberlake.

Ted is amusing. I found it entertaining but it's not one you'd want to watch much more than once.

Shawshank is amazing...Usual suspects may be the best mind job of all time though! Saw Zero Dark Thirty yesterday and it was well done, dont go into it thinking its a shoot-em-up film cause its not but good none the less.
 
Oh and going off of the Justin Timberlake post above Alpha Dog was a great movie
