Ive had my tank set up 8 weeks now (jewel vision 180l). I have lots of fast growing plants but am still constantly fighting the algae. The glass is easy to clean but its growing on the pants and gravel. Im feeding plants fortnightly as directed on plant food. My nitrate reading is 5.
I thought i might try the covering the tank in dark for 3days thing.
Has anyone tried this and does it work?
