fighter fish

I always thought paradise fish where just a subsect of gouramis to me they look similar oh well I thought bettas and gouramis looked alot alike long before i knew anything about either.

the thype of fighter i was talking bout is a "Siamese Fighting Fish" i wasnt sure that hed go well in with cichlids, ive got a blue araca, 2 yellow elecs, 2 red zebras plus algae eater(catfish looking ones) and the dude didnt seem to no much, and was telling me it would go in there and everything would be huncker dorrie(no worries) i just fell in love with how pretty the fish was, man im getting nother tank or 2 lol when ic an afford them

I thought you said dont keep the gouramis in with the betta??? )

I put them in the community tank and this morning they seem pretty happy, all of them do..... I have found a tetra as i only thought i had 6 but i now have 7???
