Fight!fight! (update W/ Pics!)

I just darednt keep mine in divided tanks now..so upset when my 2 boys got in together...so glad yours are ok..they are very naughty I hope you gave them a talking to. :/

Glad your boys are healing. Isn't it interesting how fast and how slow some bettas heal? I had one betta who never healed. I used medication and super clean water. He NEVER healed. Then I have little Oatsie who heals almost overnight! Lil Pip is adorable!

Thanks!

Other boys have moved into their divided areas in the 10gal, and they haven't jumped - but also they're longer tail types. I think since Pip's a plakat and so lite - he can jump w/o a care but I haven't had any problems w/ longer tail types jumping.

Plus I like divided because less water changes w/ the cycle tank. Plus the heater keeps the betta at a constant temp. . . PLUS MORE ROOM!! (for more maybe??) :D :D :D

I think since Waldo's an older boy - that healing will probably take a good year - while Pip still young, I think another month and he'll be all good (plus he doesn't all that tail to heal up. )

I'll keep you guys posted!

I had just put my two original VTs in a divided Mini Bow. I put the divider in upside down and one slipped through to the other. My Very Very Bad! They were only at it a few minutes, but Zuni Warrior ripped up Lavender Boy's fins good. Lavendar Boy was so ashamed and in shock, he just layed on the bottom on his side and played dying. When I talked to him he got up though and swam around and came over. He has his own tank again and ZuniWarrior is in a bowl until I get his tank ready. I have gotten the divider right now, and two new VTs are sharing it. (Pics coming later. :p )

The boys are good today, but LavendarBoy is a bit shredded.

I'm glad your boys are recovering too.

Dang waldo got the worse of it again!! I don't think I have to worry about my bettas jumping the divider in my 2.5g because they are old and just don't flare at each other, but you got young teenage bettas that have alot of spunk. (sighs) I wish I could have young bettas that would last longer than a year. LOL
