Fiddler crabs

Hi,

I am looking at different types of crabs, and I just saw that red clawed crabs are nocturnal. I checked but couldn't find anything saying if fiddler crabs were nocturnal or not. I've had nocturnal pets before and they were pretty boring during the day .

Does anyone know if fiddler crabs are nocturnal?

I don't know if they are nocturnal per se but I do know that mine aren't that active. They prefer to hide under the rocks or burrow in the sand. I put a fake plant in the tank recently and one like to hide among the "branches". If you are looking for something that is interesting to watch being active a fiddler is probably not it.

I agree I used to hae them and they are not active at all boring little uys
