I have got a 60 litre tank which i have added 2 FG8 Puffers, was just wondering what (if anything) makes good tank mates for them? The tank is fresh water and is quite heavly planted.
Figure-8 puffers should be kept in brackish water. Whether or not you are "willing" to keep them in freshwater is hardly a moral justification for keeping this species in conditions that will stress it, and likely make it sick.
Just to quote Neale Monks here...

You'll be wanting to get some marine reef salt to add to the water and a hydrometer to test the water and get it to a salinity of 1.003-1.005sg. They can take fluctuating salinity so it doesn't need to be spot on all the time, in fact I fluctuate mine on purpose with each water change as they live in estuarine areas that can be prone to fluctuations in salinity in the wild from fresh to brackish.
Neale's book is a very good buy if you're interested in these puffers and how to keep them so they maintain a good level of health and vitality in captivity
I would also say that 2 F8s in a 60L tank is stocked to the brim and hasn't got free space for adding more fish.
I have a pair of F8s and 9 bumblebee gobies in a metre long 130L tank and they sure as anything don't look lost!I have got a 100litre tank spare which i could add them too, but small puffers in a 3 foot tank will look lost.... So in a bigger tank would there be any other fish i could add? I know cat sharks are brackish fish, would they live with my puffers?

That's them...the big ones. I got mine at Pets @ HomeOoooh what are those plants? Are they those silk ones that are advertised as vivarium plants? I want some.
