one of our female mollies has what looks like swollen gills and eyes, she`s breathing normally and also looks pregnant. Any advice ?

Our water stats are all Fine
All the other Mollies are fine
She swims about like normal
When we bought her she had naturally blood red eyes and the back of her gills were also red.

I thought she may of ben giving birth ealier as our Emperors where hanging around her.
Really dont know wether to treat her or not

Sounds like a stress related problem or a gill infection. I'd just be gentle, soothing, patient, slow, and careful with it. Avoid netting it, chasing it, scaring it, or stressing it with big water changes. If conditions persist think about treating it with Tetracycline.

cheers

She seems really happy and confident in the tank although some times she scurrys off
Not due to the other fish in there but the male Salafin
Could he be over doing it with her

Also have you ever seen or heard of a Male salafin
Swimming rapidly to the surface and tail slapping across the tank for about 20 seconds

Ours has done that 3 times in the last 4 weeks.
It doesnt bother the other fish just scares us as we will be sitting eating dinner or watching our other tank then you hear splash splash and I jump up thinking one of the fish has escaped!!!!!!
