Female Making A Bubble Nest?

Hi

I have just moved my current females into their new bigger tank that they will be sharing with my new females when they arrive today. One of the females has started to make a bubble nest? I thought the males did that.

some females do make bubble nests but watch her for aggresion just in case

Careful... You MIGHT end up with a few more fish than you bargained for.... But it could also be that the female lays her own unfertile eggs, (some eat them, others put them into the bubble nest) But when they don't hatch, she will eat them all.

Another possibility is that your Female (?) Lays her own fertile eggs... so kind of like a he/she

You can never know with bettas. Check her for a gravid tube. And if she is displaying to any other females.
