female bettas

I've looked through some pics and the other threads, but I still have a hard time telling a female plakat from other female bettas, esp. veiltails. Is there a clear distinction or difference that can help me?

I am not an expert but females have much less finage than males.

Check the Betta tail topic pinned at the top that should help.

the only differance i rely know that could help u is that in vt females, the tail has juts single rays that go all the way, while a plakat females rays branch off into two im not sure how much help that is but i looked at pictures of both and they are very simular
