Ok this is a breeding question.. I was just wondering.. If a female Betta drops all her eggs on her own how long will it take before she has replenished her eggs?

Oh.. and is Blood worm allrite for conditioning the fish or should I get some live foods too. I dont have them allready cause I heard live foods can have diseases in them and that frozen foods have been checked so their allrite

It just depends on the fish. If i were you I would wait at least a week or two but the can usually replenish there eggs in days and be healthy enough.

Frozen bloodworms are good and it is good to feed them live food for conditioning, but i just use bloodworms and brine shrimp and that plumps them up.

so is it ok to just give them frozen foods like blood worm and brineshrimp?
O and when I have fry is it ok to feed them and egg yolk for like a week or so and brineshrimp when they are bigger?

Thats fine for the bloodworms and brineshrimp.

But I havent really heard to much about feeding egg yolks. Whats best is first liqufry, then microworms, after baby brine shrimp, then after they get about 5-6 weeks whatever they will eat.

hmmm is there anything alse besides micro worms i can use? cause ive tried them before and they allways go off fast, besides the guy who use to sell it to me doesnt any more so im a bit stuck! i got the egg yolk idea from here... http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Acres/3...ghtingfish.html
so I will have to try that unless there is anything alse i can feed them?

Hmm they must have tried it before and it worked so why not? Tell me how it works. Also there is a thing called like vinegar eels that are supposed to be good also.

the live food for babies all smells too bad for me..

egg yolk is good, but messy, really easy to overfeed, so make sure you siphon extra food out daily..

umm...

they sell liquifry at some pet stores..

not exactly sure what it is,

but im guessing a liquid type state food for fry

hey i found some liqufry my brother use but i think its like 2 yrs old.. will it still be ok to use or does it go off?

btw its like in a tube thing

yea thats the stuff...

uhh..

if its 2 yrs old..

maybe look for an expiry date... i dont think fish food would expire..

but maybe squirt a bit out into a cup of water and see if it looks safe

 lol you sound disgusted hahahahhaha that was funny.. yeah i dont think the tube stuff goes off. because astranuats live on tube stuff and it doesnt go off.
o and whats it suppose to look like when you put it in some water? cause ive never used it before and my bro isnt coming back here for a week so i have no idea lol
