female hides too easily.. i think i might have to divide it in half..

lots of room in a 10 gallon to hide... his nest is 1/2 decent.. but the female swims away.. ill leave em overnight and tomorrow morning afternoon if nothing has happened maybe ill try the divider and give em another night..

then ill try another male maybe

todays update...

the male has been goin crazy tryin to get the female to mate..

everytime she looks at him he builds the nest more... and sometimes she comes over to look...

he rarely leaves the nest... but the female only comes over every so often to check out what hes doing..

im gonna give them today and tomorrow i think..

and if nothings happened maybe ill try a diff female..

i have a crowntail female with white body and baby blue fins that looks like shes egged up so i will try her on saturday if nothing has happened since then..

the bubblenest is like an inch thick.. he has ocd..

the female will come over to him at the nest.. flare at each other..

and the female will either swim away,

or ive seen them embrace a few times briefly..

i think i just got to give them time

yes its a female...

now.. they embrace about every minute, but no eggs come out..

the female is upside down when they embrace.. and the male is like vibrating, but no eggs come out..

but yea... they wont stop embracing..

im not sure if the male doesnt know what hes doin or what

If they're embracing, definetly give them time, they will eventually start producing eggs. I had a spawn that took hours before eggs started to be released, but they did eventually start and they produced alot of eggs, you'll have some soon too
