Female Bettas

I can only get one betta fish also, although I was sure I was getting a female. But now that I've heard that they're in a way social, I'm considering a male- not getting more than one female.

There's always a refund for a dead fish, if within 72 hours, at the store...so that's not a problem. Thanks...

I euthanized him a little while ago, and I don't often do that. He couldn't move around properly...he seemed to periodically "faint" and then spiral. It looked to me like he was suffering, and that there was no chance of recovery, so I made it easier for him...Poor little guy!
