Female Apistogramma

my female Apistogramma Agassizii keeps changing patten some times shes just got sometinmes is got and has a black spot on the side of it and sometimes its gold with a black line down it. the colour can change in a couple of seconds do they normaly do this

Has she got any fry with her? I have noticed my female signals to her fry with colour changes.

actually thinking about it she gets the line when shes near the male.
