Female And The Male Betta Issues.

I don't think the store would replace a betta due to an accident at home. You'll have to keep her very stress free and keep the lighting off. If she struggles to get to the surface for air then you'll need to lower the water level. She may recover but only time will tell.

Could I also ask why after all the advice we gave you, did you put her back in with him again??? I just read your updated journal.

I removed her like 3 minutes after cuz i've been letting them see each other for a short amount of time... but when i put her back in the container. i usually leave the lid off but this time she jumped out when i wasnt home...and i just came back with another female with her since they live okay together.

I have this other fish tank , not sure what kind of fish but its clear silver, purplish transparent stripe should i put them in there?

Females actually need to be kept in groups of at least 4 minimum in large heavily planted tanks. They can be just as aggressive as males and having a larger number will hopefully spread out the bullying.

I get the impression that you are going to breed them regardless of any information you've been given, to the detriment of your fish. I really think you need to learn how to look after your fish correctly before you start trying to breed them.

By keeping putting the female in with the male you are stressing them no end and these poor Bettas have had no chance to settle in one place. Please learn how to care for them properly and let you're fish have a happy and healthy life.

I probaly wont even breed them for a long time maybe in a couple of months or so.
