i think 2 of my fish have died due to the heat....coz theres a massive heat wave here in the UK right now

anyway......the heaters are off and so are the lights but the temp is still way to high.......how can i cool it down???

WC with cooler water, ice cubes, keep it airated, freeze some 2 liter bottles and let those float in the tank. All sorts of ways. If you have a fan, set it up to blow on the tank and keep it out of sunlight.

Good luck to you. The WC is the best way, just don't drop the temp drastically, a 1-2 degree drop per hour is best.

impur pretty much covered it. if you are going to put ice cubes in your tank be sure to have them in sealed plastic bags so you don't need to add dechlorinator to the water

yeah get some airlines in there, if you have and if you can raise your internal filter so it breaks the surface a bit harder

At this time of year i change 20% of the water every evening and replace it with cold other than that not a lot you can do apart from try and keep the room as cool as possible.

I Always thought it was funny reading about our American friends who have to have a cooling system in there Tropical Tank.

Didn't know you would ever need one here in the UK. Well theres no need for one up here in Scotland anyway! Must be just in the Tropical South. Lucky So & So's

ive been puttinice cubes in the water but still the watewr is warm.......im gonna start doin water changes
