usually, if there is such a thing, once a day. giving only enough food so it is all eaten in 3-5 minutes.

In general, it's easier to overfeed a fish than undereed one. It's also generally more harmful to over a feed a fish than under feed it. Once a day should be fine, or if you're really keep you could split it up into two smaller portions. Just make sure that the fish are actually eating all that you are giving them in a few minutes.
