i have 2 platies (4 babies in breeding net)
2 female fighters
and 5 bottom feeders

hi,
livebearers like veg, peas shelled, cucumber, spinach, all of which i soak in boiled water for a few seconds.
defrosted prawns go down well, frozen shrimps, bloodworms ect all of which you can get from your local aquarium shop. hth donna :)

bloodworms? can al my fish eat them or only livebearers x

Corys love bloodworm, both live & frozen. As do clown loaches etc. Have you tried dried tubiflex or bloodworm? Frozen daphnia, mysis, brine shrimp. There are more to choose from. Even the algea tablets for bottom feeders are also eaten by top or mid level feeders.

I often put the frozen cube in the tank so it floats for longer & the top feeders go mad to get it, fun to watch, as is feeding live bloodworm to small fish or fry that are not used to food 'fighting back'.
