What are you guys feeding your stock? Anyone feeding a DIY diet? I've been contemplating this but worry about tank waste. If anyone is having any luck with a homemade diet, I'd like to hear about it.

Right now I am feeding Prime Reef, Formula 1, Julian Sprung's Sea Veggies, dried zoo plankton (Euphauslids soaked in Selcon), and mysid for the occasional snack.

You can use fresh whole sardines, squid and other bits of high quality seafood. Just chop them up and feed once a day or every other day (depending on types of fish).

Another option is you can make gelatin cubes if you want to have pre-made stuff on hand. They're also a handy way to introduce any vitamins or additives to their diet if it is necessary.

If you have herbivores, you can add seaweed from the japanese section of your store, or you can put in romaine lettuce leaves, and they'll eat that.

I feed mine live phytoplankton, mysis, brine shrimp, chopped cockle, marine cuisine and cyclops. all the food is frozen (appart from the live phyto) and de-thawed in vitamins from the german company HW aquaristic (multi vit)

Ohhh, I like this idea! I can get a small cube tray and put the chopped bits of fresh food mixed with plain gelatin in there. Pop one out whenever it's feeding time. No fuss no muss.

I soak in selcon though so I don't think adding that to the gelatin would be a great idea. Could presoak the euphauslids and then add into the gelatin mixture.
