Thanks all for the helpful advice and the link too Platy. You've all been most kind
I will keep you all updtated on how things are going. It will be good info for not "WHAT!" to do for others who are thinking about getting a tank and fish.
I haven't got in touch with the guy who might take them off me yet, I'll do that later today. If he doesn't maybe he knows somone who would like to have them.
Also I'll ask my children if they have any fish tanks in their schools and see if I can donate them there.
All the fish seem very healthy at the moment. Feeding well and making full use of the tank. So far Moores haven't even had a sniff at the neons these past few days, but I know from what you have told me here it could change very soon.
I'm sure this will come to a happy ending, where fish and me will all be chillin

I cant believe that shop you bought the fish from. I mean they're like, 'get you in, get your money, get you out' and I would never step foot in it again. It was so irresponsible for them to sell Black Moors with tropicals and not even ask or suggest that they need seperate tanks, and then refuse to take them back FROM a tropical tank. That just stinks!!
As you probably guessed Im annoyed. Im sure you will find a shop that has some people with intergrity working there, there are loads in Dublin, it just took a bit of looking around. They are the kind of shop who will question why you are buying a certain medication before you hand over the cash, ask what kind of fish you have already and suggest you lay off adding more fish to a full tank or tell you the fish you fancy are incompatible with each other.
I think you will find their enthusiasm will rub off on you and before long you will be eyeing up the 400L 7ft tank at the back, thinking about selling your car!!

Anyway, I think the good guys out there, the shops that really care, deserve some recognition. So here is a link to one of my favourite shops in Dublin, be sure to pay them a visit next time anyone is in Dublin, they're great guys!!
