Hi guys,

I got 4 Zebra Danios yesterday to add to my 29 gallon tank. How much should I feed these little guys? The food I have says to only feed them enough that they will finish in 3 minutes. I didn't feed them yesterday since it was their first day in, but when I fed them today they gobbled up the food within 30 seconds. Should I give them more until three minutes is up as long as they keep eating? I'm feeding them Aqueon Color-Enhancing Tropical Flakes.

I keep 6 Zebra Danios and find them voracious feeders. Sometimes they will keep eating how much ever food you provide.,
so its important not to overfeed. The 3 minute guideline on the flake food box is only that - a guide line.
I give my danios a pinch of flake food twice a day. Once a week I give them frozen brine shrimp or bloodworms, they love
those things. Need to be even more careful about over feeding there. Danios are like pigs when it comes to feeding, make sure
the tank mates get enough food.

Thanks. Yeah these guys gobble up the flakes. I was surprised at how fast they do it. They don't seem to bother with the sinking wafers that the other fish eat.
