Feeding Time

and the trigger fish! those teeth they have!! eeeepp!

:hyper:

i love the first picture of you feeding that eel :fun: ... but again... the teeth!!

pink.

Is there any benefit in feeding cooked prawn to the fish?

No idea, I just buy whatever is cheapest in Tesco

Are you planning on getting a male? It'd be great if you end up successfully breeding them. ;)

I haven't seen another of this species before or since, and sexing frogfish is about as close to impossible as you can be until they start spawning.

That's a shame, would have been great to get them breeding.
I'm going to try and tear myself away from this thread now before I end up nagging the better half for a Frogfish!

So doing this might be considered evil? ;)

And I think even more so after a good pig out on food:

As then even the porky checks himself out in the mirror:

And finally, since there aren't any above, have an old pic of the tang:

 You rotten devil!
I should have known better than to click on your thread. Frogfish, Eel and Porcupinefish.....what more could a girl want! ;)

The main one is 60x24Wx18H serviced by a 48x12Wx18H sump, a 60x8Wx12H fuge and connected to another two tank system which has a 30x12Wx15H tankw ith a couple of clowns in and a 24x12Wx15H tank which currently serves as a second fuge growing macroalgae.

The frogfish tank is 24x15x15 with a sump measuring 18x12x15 (I think, it is custom made by me) and a 16x8x8 fuge.

It's really not healthy and not very fair to make your puffer inflate. Every time it does so, it is believed that it does lose time off of its life, not to mention that puffing up is a form of defence, so it must mind.

Excellent pictures though, and an amazing picasso.

HUH!? this statement is ludicrous!

Barring the point that I don't have a puffer, but rather a porcupinefish...

If it really cares so much, why does it swim straight back to my hand afterwards?

Also, if puffing up loses time off of his life then he is also killing himself as he will puff up all on his own (as shown by the pic of him puffed on his own). I myself just believe that it is sucking water into a ventral diverticulum of the stomach in a manner which it has evolved to do.

Are they tropical or marine? They are lovely fish.
