feeding time table and amounts

hello all

i just got 6 black mollies and was wondering how much i should feed them and how often

i gave them a hefty pinch of fish flakes (prob only weighed about 2g but they hoovered that up in no time

this is the first fish tank ive ever had and i love it (just thought i would add that )
just gotta until i move out to get a huge tank but i'll have to make do with the 3500 litre pond me and my dad built for my big fish for now

Feed them only the amount they can eat in a couple of minutes.
I feed my fish once a day and once a week i skip a day and let them go hungry a little. One of the biggest mistakes made by fish keepers is over feeding which fauls the water and in turn sickens the fish.
A hungry fish is a healthy fish.

Remember when you first get your fish from the petstore they are hungry because they don't get fed much to keep their tanks very clean. I usually feed mine twice a day at first and then go to once a day after a few days.
I love the faces, they are sure different from another forum I belong to.

sounds good, i think i'll stick to a plan that insures they wont starve to death , after all replacing food is cheaper than replacing fish

mollys will also like fresh veggies. they can eat zuccini, cucumber, peas, spinach all sorts of stuff. this will be healthy for them as well as cut down on them eating your plants if you have any live ones. i feed my live bearers veggies twice a week.

i feed mine twice a day normally and there is always cucumber in the tank... the only problem is, when i walk past they all look at me and have a play wen i put fingers in tank(clean hands ) and then give them bit food its all great, just feed em when ever you want.. nothing rong wiv it part from might have to clean bit more often but hey who can resist such a cute lil face!!!

i don't know, if you grate it very fine it makes decent muffins, can't taste it but still get all that nutrition.
