I have one question. If I only had the time to feed my betta fish once per day. How many pellets can I feed him?

Please don't reply saying feed as much until their belly is round. I can't tell when their belly is round because I can't tell. lol

Perhaps you guys can share how much you feed your betta fish if only fed once per day. As well as any knowledge that may be useful to me.

Thank you

I feed mine 2 times a day about 5 atison's or about 3 hikari pellets because the difference in size. I feed them a pea once a week and frozen live food (brine shrimp) once a week. If a fish isn't acting their usually begging self I will feed him the live food every other day.

4-6 pellets will do once a day. I do 2-3 twice a day. It's sort of a preference/experience thing. I dont really see any realistic downsides of feeding once a day. I just like to mess around with my betta and make him do tricks more often than not (... he NEVER gets overfed.... ehemm.... yeah...)

The 4-6 once a day sounds good. I personally feed mine 4 Hikari Bio Gold Pellets in the morning and 3 in the evening (he's a big boy :) ), skipping feeding on Saturdays. I also give him a freeze dried bloodworm or two a couple days a week.
