Feeding Tanganyikan Cichlids

My stock is in my profile.

I am feeding Tetra Pro crisps, Algea Flakes and tabs. Bloodworm, brine shrimps.

Concerned about the protien in bloodworm....ok for my stock??

Suggestions on feeding plans?

Tangs for the most part are carnivorous. It causes problems more in the mbuna, which are herbivores. This may be of interest to you:

I would worry that bloodworms would be a bit too rich although I'm sure they are fine for a treat now and then.

Personally I have always use NLS cichlid formula with good success in breeding and colour, for both herb and carnivores (incl Tropheus).
Although for herbs I also use spirluna flake as well.

Prima, Hikari Cichlid Gold, Spirulina Algae Flakes, Brine Shrimp (mainly frozen but sometimes live), Cucumber.

Obviously not all at once
