Hi guys. I have been told you can feed cherry shrimps leaves. What type off leaves can I feed them ?

Shrimp will graze on the biofilm of IAL, anything else I am unaware of.

Indian Almond Leaves (IAL), and  Mulberry Leaves are fine as well as Ice Cream Bean Leaves and Kale. They are also partial to bananas.

If collecting leaves from around your house or parklands just be careful that no chemicals have been sprayed on them. I have heard of people having issues with feeding Kale but they have put the deaths down to feeding non-organically grown kale.

Ok thank you for all the advice I will try to get some off them leaves. Bacchus when you say banana how do you mean ?

The leaves arrived today. How long can I leave them in the tank for ?

I leave the leaves in the tank until they have reduced to skelatons, this gives the leaves plenty of time to develop a biofilm over them that the shrimp will feed off as well as the actual leaf.

With the Banana just cut a bit off the fruit and weigh it down with something like a fork like you would for weighing down zuchini. I wouldnt leave the banana in the tank too long maybe only between 1/2 and a whole day. If you have lots of shrimp in the tank it wont take them long to discover the new food and from their reaction oyu should be able to work out what time frame will suit them.

Something else many of my fish, shrimp and snails all like are nori sheets, the seaweed wraps that go aorund sushi.

Same... I give mine nori sheets, blanched lettuce leaves and sometimes a slice of boiled eggplant which my snails seem to love more lol
