I believe the rule is 5 mins. Give your fish as much as they can consume within 5 mins and then remove the other un-eaten stuff. Be happy that your fish go crazy for food. Mine are sooo picky and unless i feed them live food, they wont eat anything else and start munching the plants.

Although that food consumption is pretty impressive!

will try it tomorrow. never seen anything go so mad for food as mine do fo bloodworm lo

Feeding fish can be tricky when some fish are more aggressive eaters than others. Also it can get difficult when you have bottom feeders in the same tank as fish that will eat off the top and bottom. Feeding in different areas of the tank all at once will allow fish to get their share of the food. Feeding after all the lights have been out in the room for a few minutes allows food to get to the bottom for bottom feeders. It does make it a little less enjoyable not to see the bottom feeders eating, but you can get night light LEDs for that.
