How do you gaurantee all fish get food when you have greedy fish? my Siamese fighter doesnt get a look in at feeding times, any idea how to ensure he gets fed? i might have the same issues with my frog too

Thanks

Paul

This why bettas, particualy male ones, do not make good community fish in particular. Their long flowing fins weight them down and they aern't the fastest fish even at the best of times so they do find great difficulty in competeing for food with other fish.
The only thing you can do, which i strongly advise, is get the betta its own tank of at least 2gals(heating is needed but filtration is optional as long as you don't mind doing 100% water changes every couple of days)- he would be much happier in there as if you keep him in the community tank he will always have issues with other fish and food.
Im not sure what type of frog you have at all, frogs aern't really my area of knolege, but many types of frogs have very particular needs like some are fully aquatic while others are only semi aquatic meaning they need somewhere to rest out of the water every day. You should try and post a pic of your frog you feel it needs a second ID in the Invertebrates, Amphibians & Aquatic Reptiles section of this forum or for more advice on it.

Here is what I do when feeding frozen foods like brine shrimp and bloodworm. I thaw the food in tank water and suck the food up into a syringe. I can then feed small amounts at a time in different areas of the tank, making sure that everyone gets their share. I usually start at one end and the tetras attack it like little piranahs. While they are busy in their feeding frenzy, I can direct some food at the others in the tank. This helps to insure that everyone gets their share without overfeeding. Hope this helps. :)
