May take a while as they will be used to the higher protein foods that you have been feeding them, which probably taste better. Maggots don't really compare to Wheatgerm :/ , I hope your fish aren't to choosy.

My fish like the best,Big juicy maggots

Wonder what you look like stuffed :p

I picked up my wheatgerm today!!

i sometimes pick worms out of the filter and chuck them in the pond but now the waters getting colder i don't fancy that!!

im still feeding mine a mix ,but im adding more wheatgerm as it gets colder, these chaps musnt be fussy they take anything i chuck in,last few days have been mild and there feeding like crazy

hehehe you Losers with your ponds and outdoor. My pond is already frozen over with a three inch thick layer of ice. I can stand on it for christs sake.

/me needs to move to the UK

I don't think our pond as ever froze so that you can stand on it

Our winters are fairly mild,we haven't had a good snow fall for -_- can't remember ever having one.

Had lots of snow here last year, more than I have ever seen. Whole of the city shut down, so two days off. :p Hopefully there will be some this year as its the only good bit of winter. :)

still pretty mild up here for the time of year the fish are still feeding although i dont bother if they dont surface when i go near the pond, cleaned the filter again today the water was bloody freezing, shoulda had me marigolds on  brrrrrr

Stopped the maggots now they don't seem interested in them.
