Feeding Nerite snails?

They are, i have five of those. Adorable behavior too. But they need large tanks and sandy substrate. And loads of food

Lol. Not these, they are called velvet blue shrimp and they look gorgeous.

Glad to hear so. Thought the whole point was they eat algae and leftover food. Will they eat fish poop too?

Why would you want a fish to eat another fishes poop? Would you eat yours?

You've responded to @JennySolano 's 3rd post from the very first page of this long thread...and managed to misunderstand what it's all about.
We're talking about the dietary habits of Nerite snails.

Super cool! I'm thinking of doing shrimps instead of snails cause they dont breed AS fast...

If you get Armano shrimps they don't breed in the aquarium as they need very specific water parameters.

They are brilliant! Absolute delight to watch. They have evenings when they go bananas in the tank and are spinning round like mad things. When you put their algae wafers in they obviously can smell them and within a second or two are dashing out to grab one in their little shrimp "hands" to eat it,( like a biscuit), they hang about on the filter in little gossipy groups, obviously talking about each other - shrimps are brilliant!
