i have 5 giant danio and currently feed them twice a day i feed them two small pinches of flake is this enough they act like it is not.also i can get tiny brime shrimp from my lfs how much of these guy's can i drop in there.my tank setup is 40 gal long with a penguin 330 and 100watt heater no3/20,no2/0,ph high 8 hard water.also in there are 3 oto and a red betta.

My Giant Danios eat a lot! I only feed once daily, but I either give them a large pinch or pour a good amount of thawed bloodworm or brine shrimp in the tank. It's important to not feed so much that there is leftover food in the tank after they finish feeding, it probably will take a bit of observation to find the correct amount. It does seem that gd's eat from the top to mid section of the tank, so it may be a good idea to put in a bit, when it's gone put in a bit more.

I hope this is helpful :D

I feed mine once a day with one out of seven no food at all.
they will eat however much you give them and always want more.

IMHO only feed once a day and they will be ok.

They need a varied diet like bloodworms, brimestrimp, daphnia, river strimp, etc, veg like peas, broc, cucumba, savoy cabbage, banna, etc, algae tablets or wafers for the algae eaters and they eat veg, I feed flakes twice aday plus veg and frozen or freeze dried products.
