Mine eat live blackworms, some people say that they carry deseases but I've never had probs with the ones I buy. Try some if you can find them (maybe seperate your eel from the tank incase they are infected so as to minimize casualties for a bit) and if you don't have probs then keep buying them from the same lfs. My eel also takes granules when there's no blackworms, I have seen him take frozen bloodworms and flakes too though, guess I'm just lucky from what I've read in this thread?
