are they able to nibble at it and actually eat anything? is it just a slow thing to eat?
It's nothing as special as it's made out to be (at least from the point of view of someone who is not that into marine, as the marine section is relatively impressive compared to most LFS)… but maybe I'm biased because one of the times that I got fish there, the fish came with a virus that wiped out 90% of all my stock within a few days, and I didn't even get an apology from them, and they have never really had anything special in in terms of the fish that I like. I found the Maidenhead Aquatics in Wheatley was quite good in comparison (in terms of health of fish, state of tanks and interesting fish availability), but I haven't been in there in years, so can't say how it is now.this thread reminded me, i must visit the Goldfish Bowl in Oxford one day, i'm only down the road!
