I bought api alege eater sinking flakes. Is this proper cory and red cherry shrimp food.

I don't know about the shrimp, probably ok as they are algae tablets, but I don't think it is a proper diet for corys. They eat them, but ideally you should introduce other type of food outside the algae diet.
My albinos go crazy over the hikari sinking wafers as in the link below:

http://www.hikari.info/tropical/t_03.html

Also, once a week blood worms, they love them. I give them the frozen ones though.

my cories get, from top left clockwise:

1) frozen blood worm
2) live blood worm
3) algae wafers (more for the BN catfish..but the cories seem to love it too)
4) same pellets snazy uses
5) very small pellet compared to number4, which they can eat more quickly

...and they love me for it...they tell me everyday ! :p

That looks about perfect diet to me. The only thing I haven't given my albinos from this list is the live worms and the small hikari pellets. There is nowhere here that I can buy live food. Can you imagine!!
Do the corys like the small micro pellets?

the pellets from the orange packet, even when broken up, take up to 15-20minutes for my cories to get through

the small pellets are eaten within a minute or two, as they fit in corys mouth

was going to take a short vid to show you...but i've
a) lost the camera
b) spent all evening fishing out panda cory eggs..these guys get frisky a lot

only 2 shops out of say 10 here sell live worms, definately worth asking everywhere...or ask local fish clubs

I second tetra prima :good: granules & mini granules use them both, also nutrafin max sinking granules - meant for discus, but mine love them :good:

Along with the usual mini bloodworm, daphnia, bbs etc... i only feed mini sinking wafers broken up every few days in the evenings on light out has a treat :)
