but i don't have an ebay account and am not really keen to set one up. if the lfs can't get them i may try a wee post in the classifieds to see if there is anyone in my area wi any ideas where i can get them.

aaaaahhhh! so snails it is then. thank goodness this tank will be in the spare room out of sight lol
now for my ignorance in snails, he mentioned that it was pond snails, i've no idea on one snail from the other.
would the wee snails that usually hitchhike on plants do, are they pond snails?

pond or ramshorns which are the normal plant hitchhikers will work fine...not so sure about MTS.

i've got a nasty wee soup of dirty tank water and scraped off algae maturing for them

hopefully i'll get snails and daphnia on friday.
