Anyone else her own Fire Belly Toads? Also what do you feed em'. I feed mine 20 crickets a week

I get mine 20 large crickets every Sunday! What a lucky break because I own 2 bettas too!!! All though I am not new to em'

What do you guys keep your FBT's in? I'm planning on setting up a small 12x12x12 planted paludarium and was tinking about a FBT or two if its big enough,

Aslo could I keep fish in there, or would the FBT's eat them?

And would a betta be OK or would the FBT still be able to eat it?

I do not think a betta and a FBT are such a good match:) FBTs eat small fish so do not keep guppies with em'. I have had mystery snails with FBTs before and they were fine:) I would think the Betta would peck and bite at the FBT and if its a smaller female than I think a Fire Belly Toad would eat it  I keep my 2 males in a 10 gallon half water and half rocks. I keep a big plant in there so they can hide and I do not fill it up to much with rock because Mac(One of my male) has a tendency to climb walls. :hyper:

I keep my 2 (soon 3 maybe lol) in a 14g long

The water level is only about 5" deep with wood ect to climb out.

I think I can remember reading that they secreet toxins(?!) into their water which,
makes other things hard to live :look:

OK cool thanks guys! Maybe it would work if I chose the right betta then...but judging character in lfs may be a bit difficult, I'll chose a betta that can go with betta s and ADF's then :good:.

In fact, do you think ADF's would do OK too?

I thought I red that too...but I've asked a few people about it and they said that the toxin is only released when they are stressed and it's not actually that bad.
I've seen them in with fish before, so I think it will be OK :good: .
