Whats your number 1 fav fish of all time you've kept? Mines neon tetras.

clown loach / corys /or keyhole cichlids  and more

Albino cories!

Of course, I'm really loving keeping barbs and bettas as well. Ghost shrimp are really great, too. My GBRs are fun as well.

Least favorite would be guppies and gourami.

I do love loaches but at the moment my red rainbows are truly stunning and always showing off at the front of the tank, i love them!

Bizarrely, my lampeyes. Closely followed by my tiger barbs and polka dot loaches. And my firemouth. Pfft, I love them all!

I've had many, many answers to this over time.

Generally my answer would be the more intelligent and interactive ones, which has varied in species over the years but has almost always been cichlids of some form or another.

My favourite of all time was a wild type (not wild caught but wild genetics) angelfish, who recognised different people and knew who not to beg for food to as they'd already fed her.

cant decide if its bolivian rams with the way they are so curious about the world outside the tank or my panda garras that from time to time get so over excited and chase each other to the point that next morning they are knackered and just sit or rock or log to recharge!!

best looking fish has got to be my L141 pleco, not as shy as some plecos that you hear about but stunning when he/she does come out to show off, cucumber bribe always help!

Mine wouldn't be a specific type but just a specific fish (that I still have). Gemini, my blue snakeskin female guppy.

Siamese Algae Eaters (correct me if I'm wrong)

as much as i hate the little blighters for digging everything that they can get near, they never fail entertain me!

Pearl Gouramis, followed by many other Gouramis.  After that it's split between Bolivian Rams, Corries & Angels.  My favorite tetra is the Lemon followed closely by the Black Phantoms.

Corys!!  As you can see by my username.  Besides just being adorable, they're super helpful!  I had a complete catastrophe with feeding algae wafers to my omnivores.  They wouldn't look at it and it coated my beautiful crystal-white sand in a thick brown muck.  I tried vacuuming but couldn't get lots of it.  Well, I plopped 4 Corys in there and presto, in 2 days back to normal!!  They just make my tank, I love them
