Great Dane for me! Actually, I've never had a dog, but I had a friend with a great dane and I absolutely loved him!

how about the mutt dog? they come in ever size/shape you can think of i have two dogs one is a mutt the other is a queensland heeler. but for an actual breed i think i would have to go with an austrailian shepard, they are beautiful dogs. i wish my mom would let me get one

Since I'm a huge dog person and have shown and been involved with them for a long time - I had to comment! I have been exposed to numerous breeds, but I must say I am the largest fan of dogs in the herding group. I am probably biased since I own an Australian Shepherd/Sheltie cross, but I think herding type dogs are some of the smartest dogs - at least the smartest I've come across. Often they're too smart (like my dog)!! I just love them - so I'm gonna hafta say my favorite breed is an Australian Shepherd, they're gorgeous and brilliant.

had to vote other as mine has lots of other breeds in her - she is an original 'spider retriever' but only small spiders as the big ones scare her actually she's a red gold scruffy terrier mix with possibly some border collie, but possibly not!! Very smart and knows lots of tricks.

and at this young age is very obedient and very easy to train she's a real joy

I love any dogs that isnt small, but I really love english bull terriers and pitbulls!

I had to vote other also.....being as my 2 favorite breeds were not on the list I love Chihuahua's <we say "Cha-who- ah-who-ah"> lol & Pit Bulls. Always had them.

i grew up with miniature shnauzers (sp), but my biggest love for dogs are huskies.

I had to go for other, as my favorite is my min-pin (miniature pinscher). His name is Damien and he is 5 months old now. He is so active but loves to cuddle up to which ever family member is sitting down.

Other for me I'm afraid, I'm totally hooked on Boxers, great personality, loyalty and they never grow up, mad till the end

I like Bull Mastiffs and great danes.......I prefer larger dogs.
