Well am having trouble giving them peas as they just refuse to eat them at all.

I have found starving them out usually works a treat, though this tactic should be used with caution. I would only ever not feed them for a few days, i know they can last a lot longer if healthy but it should not be done IMO if not necessary.

Basically what i am saying is to not feed them for a few days and then try them with the defrosted, de-shelled and chopped/mushed up peas.

i recently overfed my neons, and most of them had bulging bellies, next day back to normal also!

So can I feed them freeze dried anything really?

I would only feed freeze dried foods sparingly as they can lead to bloating, swim bladder problems.
Make sure the food is soaked in tank water before feeding.

i feed my fish once a day and all of my rummy nose tetras get a bloated belly after feeding but after a few hours to a day, their bellies have gone down again..my fish wouldnt eat the peas either...tried a few times
