Ok, so about 4 weeks ago I noticed my female guppy had got rather fat. I've been watching her closely as I assumed she was preggers, but no babys and she's still fat. Like heavily pregnant fat. She's healthy too.
My more dominant male is all over her, even though she trys to get away from him, he chases the other male off.
I'm a little confused as to what this could be.
I can't see any little one's in her, and I'm not over feeding my fish or they'd all be fat.... confused

This is just my thoughts... But if she is healthy, and moving around well, that is a good sign. Males get somewhat aggressive towards other males especially with females. Either they are trying to get another males' fry or trying to make some fry. Females mostly get attention when pregnant. This is from my own experience. I breed guppies myself. But my overall thought is that your female guppy is pregnant. But depending on her age, is taking longer to create & birth them.
