Fat Danios.

Think my Danios are mating. The females are really stretching out their finnage and the male chases them furiously around the tank and i mean really chasing them. Could this be them trying to have kids? One of my pearls looks really really fat i hope its not because shes eaten too much. Shes just a wee fish so this belly looks ridiculous. Maybe its just because they eat everything. I've been giving them a varied diet. Anyone got any Danio stories?

sounds like typical spawning behaviour.
danios tend to spawn at first light or at dusk, even during the spawning they will eat their eggs.
