I have two different stories for you all since I have finally settled down into a routine at my new apartment.

I bought a calico twin-tail goldfish a while ago for my 100 gallon tank. Well a week ago he disappeared without a trace. I was so shocked that I didn't know what to do at first. I checked everywhere even though there was no possible way that that fish could have gotten out of the tank. After 2 days with him gone, I gave up on looking for him because I didn't want to tear my tank apart. Well today I found him, almost a week later.........still alive!!! He was trapped under the grass matt in my tank and I immediatly lifted up the mat. He swam out very slowly, but upright. He's very torn up and, believe it or not, is missing an eye. His tail is ripped, but he is swimming fairly normally, and he is eating like a cow. (afterall, he hasn't eaten in a week...) So far he is doing ok, and interacting with my finger and following me as if nothing had ever happened. I am still worried about him though...:look: :X

Now for the second story...which is short...lol.

I bought my fiance a 10 gallon aquarium to begin raising baby oscars. Well I got him two the other day and I found that one looks and acts like my Beta Big Blue! His tail fin is HUGE! He even attempts flaring! It's so weird and pictures are coming soon! lol :hyper:

Your story reminds me of one of those earthquake stories where they still find children in the rubble a week after the event! Amazing - watch him close, it had to be stressful. I'd like to see pictures of the survivor :D
