Family member dropped a towel in one of our fish tanks, should we be concerned?

To be fair, it's only when his can of beer or lager erupts on the worktop that he grabs the nearest thing which is the towel under the worktop but I wouldn't like to get any of those in my tank.

Spilled beer?...makes a grown man cry...

Not so much spilled as sometimes when he pulls the ring pull it erupts like a volcano. He usually has the glass close to hand but it has been known to froth up and over the edge of the glass.

Now if he'd drink a nice glass of red wine, that doesn't froth up and it stays where you put it

All the fish look fine and are acting as always.

That's good. keep an eye on the ammonia and nitrite levels for a couple of days to make sure that whatever caused the cloudiness didn't harm the bacteria.
